Charles Allen

Charles Seaborn "Seab" Allen 95, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on November 23, 2016. He was born August 15, 1921, in Fordyce, Arkansas, to the late James Seaborn Allen and Luella Ainsworth Allen.
Seab was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church, past president of the North Little Rock Rotary Club and a Mason. He was a musician, who played with The Sonny Land Big Band and Doug Stiles and Friends. He was also a WWII and Korean Conflict veteran serving with the Marine Corps and Marine Corps reserve for 26 years before retiring as Colonel.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Katherine Lee Allen, daughter, Jan Hilts (Bob) of Memphis, Tennessee, cousins, Gail Allen and Gus Allen of Little Rock, Arkansas, niece, Sheila Epps of Fort Worth, Texas, and nephews, Sidney Epps and Joe Stanley "Bubba" Epps of Arlington, Texas.
Memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, 10800 Financial Center Parkway, Suite 380, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfont Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256 or NLR Friends of Animals.
Funeral services will begin at 1:30 P.M., Monday, November 28, 2016 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 prior to the service.
