Charles Alexander

Charles Thomas Alexander, 71, of Little Rock, passed away May 16, 2011. He was born in Little Rock to Oran Randle and Beatrice Weaver Alexander and was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. Charles was a real estate broker, a member of the Arkansas Air National Guard and a past member of the Toastmasters and the Lions Club. He retired from the Post Office as a Postmaster. He was also a very clever poet.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue McCauley Alexander; son, Charles Randall Alexander and wife, Kymm of Benton; brothers, Floyd Alexander and Bob Alexander of East End and Dennis Alexander of Edgemont; sisters, Orlene Gwynn of Houston, Texas, Billie Mae Gardner of Little Rock and Sherry Wilcox of East End; and three grandchildren, Ashlyn Ryne Angela Alexander, Randall Kade Alexander and Rede Shannon Alexander..
Services will be Friday, May 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, officiated by Mr. Chuck Monan, followed by interment at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood. Visitation will precede the service at the church, beginning at 12:30. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
