Charlene A. Wilson

Charlene A. Wilson, age 87 of Bismarck, Arkansas, went to be with her loving Lord and Savior on April 12, 2023.  Charlene was born June 12,1935, in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, to Hien Fick and Christene Ranson Fick.

She was an avid student of the Bible and was an amazing and selfless woman that cared for her friends.  She and her late husband, Leon, owned and operated Wilson’s Market in Bismarck.  She was an organic gardener and loved her beautiful flowers.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and four siblings. 

She is survived by her sons, Robert Wilson (Suzanne) of Edgewood, New Mexico and Jimmy Dean (Vicki) of Glenwood; one daughter, Diana Rucker (Michael) of Bismarck; four grandchildren, Patrick Rucker (Lori), Russell Wilson, Beth Mayberry and Clint Wilson (Olivia); four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and exchange students, Jing Zeng and Wan-Chien Fu (Wendy). 

Visitation will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Church of Christ in Bismarck with Shirley Chancellor and Tim Jordan officiating.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bismarck. 

Pallbearers are Wayne Weatherford, Todd Corley, Blake Corley, Cameron Cannavan, Caleb Cannavan and Cayden Cannavan. 

Honorary Pallbearers are Warrant Officer First Class Jeremy Willis, Dr. Divers and staff, Dr. Amy Falck and Dr. David Pruitt and staff.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay Street, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923.
