Charlene Virginia Rice

Charlene Virginia Rice, 88, of Scott, Arkansas passed away on October 8, 2022. She was born on August 27, 1934 to the late Willard and Noma Holley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Thelma Poppy; husband, Bill Rice; son, David Rice; and granddaughter, Katie Brooks.

Charlene is survived by sons, Rodney Rice, and Johnny (Terri) Rice; daughter-in-law, Donna Rice; grandchildren, Amber Rice, Brian Rice, Daniel Rice, Lauren Cox, Jackson Rice and Luke Rice; twelve great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

She was a 1953 graduate of North Little Rock High School. Charlene was a faithful member of Northview Missionary Baptist Church and a choir member. She enjoyed shopping but most of all making memories with her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Northview Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM, October 12, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, with funeral service to begin at 1:00 PM, with Bro. Paul Rice officiating. Interment, officiated by Bro. Mike Cantrell,  will follow at Keo Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Rice, Daniel Rice, Jackson Rice, Luke Rice, Danny Rice and Shawn Cox.
