Chad Westbrook

Chad Westbrook

Chad Adam Westbrook, 40, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2021. Chad was born on September 24, 1980, in Little Rock, Ark. to Rudy Westbrook and Christina Pope Westbrook and was a 1998 graduate of Benton High School. Chad met the love of his life, Teri Westbrook, and they were married on October 23, 2016, in full armor in the most amazing and beautiful Viking wedding. Fun and belly laughter was had wherever he went, and he never met a stranger.  He was a kind and gentle giant and had the biggest, most caring heart.  He loved his family fiercely and was so proud and thankful to be a Dad to Hazle and Jacob.  Chad was a wonderful friend and maintained many relationships from childhood through college.  He was an avid gamer and had numerous gaming friends he had met over the years all across the country and the world.  He loved comics, Marvel and DC, all things geeky and nerdy and loved the lore and history of everything.  He was patient, a great listener and could fix anything.  He was the Warranty Manager for Riverside Trucking, RTI. Chad was loved by all who knew him and will forever be missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of nearly 6 years, Teri Gwin Westbrook; children Jacob Gwin and Hazle Westbrook; parents Rudy Westbrook (Elizabeth) and Christy Harris (Steve); brother Chase Westbrook (Jessica); nieces Harper Westbrook and Adriana Avery; nephew Riley Cummins; Grandmother Rose Harris; Father & Mother-in-law Jim & Brenda Gwin; Sister-in-law Joi Gwin-Cummins; Step-sisters Courtney Harris (Nic), Leanne Harris Schultz (Nathan), and Shelly Harris (Kenny); and so many other family members and dear friends, too many to name.

Chad is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Mildred Westbrook, J.P. Pope and Betty Pope.

Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a savings account has been set up in Teri Westbrook’s name, and the family respectfully requests that any memorials be made to it through Regions Bank (Account Number 0317597218).  Education was very important to Chad and this account will honor his memory and be set aside for his children’s education.
