Chad David Reed

Chad David Reed, 48, of Bryant, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. Chad was born July 19, 1974 to Rita Zickefoose Reed and Donald Jerry Reed.

He worked at Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, and in his spare time, he loved to be at his farm in North Arkansas. Chad was an avid outdoorsman and was a very proud father.

Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents, William Huce Reed and Mary Katherine Bartley Reed, and Earl Willard Zickefoose and Margaret Zickefoose and his father, Donald Jerry Reed.

He is survived by his mother, Rita Zickefoose Reed, two daughters, Savannah and Mary-Katherine Reed, two brothers, Terry Reed and Josh (Sonja) Reed, two sisters, Donna Bybee (Scott) and Rhonda Hall, nieces and nephews, Brittany, Brooke, Haley, Katlin, Reed, Madeline, Carson and Logan, and three great nieces, Willow, Lilly, and Blair. Chad also leaves behind his loving boxers, Layla, Bo, and Luke.

Funeral Services for Chad Reed will be Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas. Visitation starts at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m.
