Chad Michael Bennett, 29, of North Little Rock passed from this life on July 29, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with Covid-19. He was born April 28, 1992, in Little Rock Arkansas to Craig and Loretta Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed as a Parts Manager at FedEx Freight and loved his job. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and any sport, especially if it related to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Above all else, Chad loved his family, especially his wife and children. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Raymond and Willodean Bennett, George Dunlap, Bill and Lois Guess and one child. Chad will always be remembered as a hardworking and fiercely loyal husband, father, son, brother, and friend to all who were privileged to know him.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife of eight years, Emily Guess Bennett; children, Makenzie, Easton, Savannah, and Paisley Bennett; parents, Craig and Loretta Bennett of Little Rock, grandparents, Mary Dunlap of Little Rock, Bob, and Darlene Dillon of North Little Rock; sister, Cara Thompson (Joey) of Hot Springs; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Dana Guess of North Little Rock. Other survivors include sisters in law, Brittani Price (Michael) of Cabot, Jennifer Reffner (Justin) of North Little Rock, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Chad’s family would like to say a special thank you to Brandi Antonsen and Spencer Johnson at Baptist Springhill CCU, as well as Dr. Hulett and the staff of the CVICU at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock for the love and care shown to Chad and his family during this time.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at East Union Missionary Baptist Church, 20422 N Springlake Rd, Hensley, AR 72065 with Brother Paul Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Landmark Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00pm, Monday, August 2, 2021, at the church.
Memorials in Chad’s memory may be made to the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation at 2 Natural Resources Dr, Little Rock, AR 72205.
