Cercie “Chip” P. Honeycutt, Jr., 49, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord after a long battle with colon cancer on April 8, 2022. He was born October 3, 1972 in Little Rock to Cercie Patrick “Pat” Honeycutt and Linda (Nicholson) Honeycutt.
Chip was in the outdoor advertising industry. He loved to fish and hunt. He was kindhearted and loved animals. He enjoyed gardening and building beautiful flower beds. During his illness, he designed and built two electric bicycles. Chip was mechanically inclined and could build or fix anything. Chip also enjoyed rock hounding for crystals. Scuba diving was one of his favorite activities. He loved his family, and was especially close to his brother, Cody.
Preceding Chip in death is his father, Cercie Patrick “Pat” Honeycutt; and his grandparents.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Nita Patton Honeycutt; son, Jack (Honeycutt) Freeman; mother, Linda Honeycutt; brother, Cody Honeycutt; special friend, Betty Fussell; and many family members and friends who love Chip and will miss him always.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 16, with visitation following at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton, Arkansas.
