Cecil Jameson

Cecil L. Jameson, 88, of Cabot went to be with the lord December 22, 2018.  He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in Korea and Vietnam, retiring after 23 years of service.

After retirement, Cecil became the owner and operator of the Flick Theater in Jacksonville.  He attended McArthur Assembly of God in Jacksonville.  Cecil was also a member of the Jacinto Masonic Lodge in Jacksonville.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Jameson of Cabot, son Gary (Koleen) Jameson of St. Louis, grandson Erik (Laura) Jameson, three great grandchildren, Ellie, Cameron, and Eva all of St. Louis, two step daughters, Kathy (Ron) Fewell of Jacksonville and Dee (Kevin) Clark of Cabot, step granddaughter Ashley (Ryan) Shearer of Cabot, and two step great grandchildren Ben and Audrey Shearer.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Daisy Jameson.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018, at McArthur Assembly of God. Burial will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.  Cremation Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com
