Cecil Webster Hartsell, age 73 of Caney died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006 at the St. Joseph Regional Health Care. He was born April 16, 1933 in Caney, AR the son of the late Fred and Florence Burris Hartsell. He was retired county road supervisor for Hot Spring Co and Clark County, and a member and Deacon of the Caney Missionary Baptist Church
Survivors include his wife, Margell Efird Hartsell; one son, Vernon Hartsell and wife Donna of Caney; one sister, Floy Bennett of New DeRoche; two grandchildren, Shane Hartsell and wife, Deana and Brandon Hartsell and wife, Apri all of Magnet Cove, AR; four great-grandchildren, Chase and Katelyn Hartsell and Cade and Karigan Beckwith.
Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, Jan 3, 2007 in the Caney Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Cossey and Rev. Fred Etheridge officiating. Interment will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Paul Bond, Carl Burris, J.W. Chancellor, Melvin Matthews, Dewey Howell and Ricky Miller.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
