Cecil Furr

Cecil Harden Furr, 76, of Roland, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018. He was born April 1, 1942 to Jessie and Ina (McCallie) Furr of England, Arkansas. Cecil was a truck driver for Pepsi Cola, Specialty Oil, and retired from River City Oil. He was a member of North Point Baptist Church.

He lived his life loving God, his family and friends.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sports. He always loved visiting with his family and friends, because he loved to talk and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann Furr; two sons Todd and Shawn Furr; two daughters Temple David (Scrib) and Stephanie Davis (Noble); eight grandchildren R.J., David, Billy and Dylan Bisbee, Taylor Davis, L.B., Julia Davis, Aly and Jodi Furr; two great-grandsons Noah Bisbee and Jessie Scribner; two brothers Kenneth and Timmy Furr; and three sisters Patricia, Barbie, and Vikki  He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Mary Furr.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 and funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15th both at Natural Steps Baptist Church in Roland. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
