Catherine E. Williams, age 95, of North Little Rock, widow of John A. Williams, died September 26, 2008. She was born in Grand Cain, Louisiana but spent most of her life in North Little Rock. She was a long time member of Pike Avenue Baptist Church and later Crosspoint Baptist Church. She received numerous pins and recognitions as a volunteer worker while living at the Heritage House and played in the Heritage House Band for over fifteen years. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Woodell; son, Jack Williams; grandson, Fred Woodell and sister, Gladys Hardcastle. She is survived by five grandchildren, Sharon Stephenson, Dianna Tyrrell, Carol Holt, Bobby Woodell, Jr., and Ginny Simpson. She also has thirteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Flowers for the Living at Pioneer Nursing Home in Melbourne, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at Edgewood Cemetery.
