Catherine Garrison
Catherine "Katy" Garrison, 77, of Sherwood, went to be with her Lord Monday, January 4, 2010. She was a member of Agape Church, an ordained minister, and conducted women's prison ministry for 20 years. Katy was a graduate of North Little Rock High School and bookkeeper of Garrison Sheet Metal. She was a past President of PTA in the North Little Rock District. She was a loving mother, wife, mentor and friend to everyone.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Don W. Garrison; sons, David Wallace Garrison of Tunica, Mississippi, Donald J. Garrison of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Nicholas David Garrison, Kirsti Lynn Garrison and Taylor Marie Wells; and sister, Sue Schalchlin of Maryville, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to V.T.N., P.O. Box 22007, Little Rock, Arkansas 72221.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Agape Church. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
