Catherine J. Frederick, 97, of Little Rock, passed away May 15, 2012. She was born in Little Rock to Avon M. and Winifred Golden West and was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence A. Frederick and son, Jerry Patrick Frederick, she is survived by her sons, Ted J. Frederick of League City, Texas and Msgr. Lawrence A. Frederick of Little Rock; daughter-in-law, Ginger Frederick of Conway; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, May 17, beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7:00, at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Frederick on Friday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Souls, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock. Memorials may be made to the Frederick Scholarship at Catholic High School or the Catherine West Scholarship at Mt. St. Mary's Academy.
