Catherine Valentine Dilling Cross, 82, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007. She was born in Bearden, Arkansas and preceded in death by her parents, John and Selena Dilling; two brothers, John and George Dilling and one sister, Averill Dilling Heisserer.
She is survived by her loving husband, Shelton Cross, Jr., and they were five days shy of their 64th wedding anniversary. Her sister, Daisy Ruth Garrett lives in Fordyce, Arkansas. Catherine has one daughter, Selena ?Sally? Clements, three granddaughters, Christi Nolte, Natilie Wooldridge, and Amber Fore. She has eight great-grandchildren, Catherine, Mae Catherine ?Macie?, Jacob, Emma Jean, Chloe, Madelynn, Selena ?Brooke?, and Alexis Dawn ?Lexi?. She has many beloved cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Catherine retired from the VA Civil Service, was a founding member of the Back of the Bus Razorbacks, and she made many scrapbooks for University of Arkansas athletes. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Little Rock and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
