Carroll Dean Martindale, 78, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018.
He retired after 26 years in the United States Navy and Army and retired from Baptist Hospital. He loved the outdoors, playing golf with his brothers but he was most passionate about being at the lake camping with his buddies, Papa Jack, Jim Arnold and David Foy. They had many great times together. The family would like to thank Richard Green for being such a good friend.
Carroll is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Martindale; parents, Melvin and Auda Martindale; and brother, Jesse Martindale. He is survived by his children, Terry Bush (Dawn), Tina Lowe, Diane Landrum and Mark Mosher; five grandchildren, Crystal, Michael, Chris, Tyler and Carolina; four great-grandchildren, Brendon, Calvin, Braedon and Parker; three brothers, Darrell Martindale (Bonnie) of Paron, Tommy Martindale (Sharon) of Roland and Tim Martindale (Rusty) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; sister, Betty Burleson (Russ) of Little Rock; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
A visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Martindale Cemetery in Bigelow, Arkansas.
