Carroll Wayne Lewis

Carroll Wayne Lewis, born on October 29, 1942, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on November 6, 2024, in Conway, Arkansas.

Carroll had a passion for history, which he shared mainly with junior high students at Brinkley Public School for many years. His love of learning extended beyond the classroom, as he spent much of his life reading and studying various historical subjects.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Carroll had a deep affection for the simple pleasures in life. He was an avid fan of western films and enjoyed spending time at home with his beloved dog, Duchess, who brought him much companionship and joy. His love for westerns and his deep connection to his faith and family defined his peaceful, contented life.

Carroll is survived by his beloved sister, Barbara (Maurice) Lewis; his nephews, Kevin Wayne Lewis and Michael William Lewis; and his cherished dog companion, Duchess. He was predeceased by his father, Fred E. Lewis Jr.; his mother, Mildred Perry; and his brother, Fred E. Lewis III.
