Carolyn Ruth Sheehan

Carolyn Ruth Sheehan of Lonoke, AR, went on to her home prepared by her Maker Monday, October 7, 2019, at the age of 78.

To continue her story is one daughter, Johnetta Green (Keith); also continuing her story are 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Rowley and Marjorie Barnes

Those that were dear to her that have preceded her in Heaven include her parents, Fred & Gladys Mincey; husband, John Sheehan II; son, Rae Kidder; a daughter, Renee Pack; son, John Sheehan III; grandson, Bryan Green; sisters, Jane Howard, Sybil Dyson, and Norma Smith.

Carolyn was born November 22, 1940, in North Little Rock, AR, to Fred & Gladys Mincey. After graduating high school, she worked in the family machine shop for a number of years before starting her career at Baptist Health in 1964. After 44 years of dedicated service, Carolyn retired as a manager in Information Systems at Baptist Health of Little Rock. Her years of retirement were spent with great pleasure, enjoying time with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Carolyn loved her church and worshipping with others. With all of her accomplishments in life, she was a faithful disciple that now hears, “well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

A viewing is scheduled for 1:00 pm on October 10, 2019 at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home in Sherwood, with the funeral to immediately follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carolyn’s life.
