Carolyn Beth Waggoner

Carolyn “Beth” Waggoner, 62, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at her home.

She was born August 23, 1961, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Charles Wayne Kirkpatrick and Evelyn Norris Kirkpatrick.

Beth was a 1979 graduate of Arkadelphia High School.  During that same year, she also graduated from Arkadelphia Beauty School.  She cut hair for forty-seven years, and she was an instructor for Arkadelphia Beauty School from 1983 to 2015.  She most recently worked at The Plaza in Arkadelphia.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Zachary Waggoner of Arkadelphia; her sister, Charsa Wright of Benton, Arkansas; her niece, Kathryn Wright and her nephew, Charles Robert Wright.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Carolyn’s funeral service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery near Joan.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Beth’s memory may be made to The Clark County Humane Society or The American Heart Association.
