Carolyn S. Waddell Thompson, 69, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010. She was the administrator at the Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a Catlett facility, a member of Sherwood First Baptist Church and the Arkansas Healthcare Association.
She is survived by her husband, Lyle Thompson; daughter, Sandra D. Mancell; stepdaughter, Tracy Thompson, all of North Little Rock; stepson, Toby Thompson (Kelly); grandchild, Tina Thompson, all of Sherwood; three sisters, Jean Craig May (Mark) of North Little Rock, Mary Huckeby, of North Little Rock and Connie Voll (Robert), of Lonoke; two sisters-in-law, Angela Smith, of Clinton and Ramona Miller, of Branson, Missouri. She was preceded in death by a husband, Robert E. Waddell; parents, Dorothy and Marion Huckeby; brother, Robert Huckeby and sister, Ann Wiggins.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Lowell Nicholls, the Sherwood First Baptist Church Sunday School Class, the Catlett Corporation and all their facilities for their support and prayers.
Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 333 Executive Court, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 2323 McCain Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
