For 28 years, Carolyn was a devoted Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church, where she expressed her passion for faith and education with countless children. She is also survived by her son, Brian Stokes; and her daughter, Rebecca Arnold (Ben); Carolyn was a proud grandmother to Gabriella Cortes, Giovanni Cortes, and Faith Arnold, who were the light of her life. Additionally, she is remembered by her mother-in-law, Madge Stokes, and her cousin, Sue Marshall.
