Carolyn Shepherd Staton, 73, of Springdale formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012.
She is survived by her son, Paul Staton (Kathy) of Maumelle; daughter, Amanda Triplett (Jeff) of Springdale; four grandchildren, Blake Triplett, Kendall Staton, Dylan Triplett and Courtney Staton; two sisters, Patsy Quarles of Dewitt and Marolyn Critser of Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Staton, Sr. and parents, Arthur and Erma McPherson Shepherd.
Honorary pallbearers are Blake Triplett, Kendall Staton, Dylan Triplett, Courtney Staton, Circle of Life Hospice, Katherine's Place, Robert Cathcart, Doc Daugherty and Faith Senior Women's Sunday School Class of Cross Church.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Mulberry Cemetery, England, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the NWA Circle of Life Hospice or Cross Church, Springdale, AR.
