Carolyn Mae Salyers peacefully passed away on November 27, 2023, at Arkansas Heart Hospital. She was surrounded by her loved ones during her final moments. Carolyn, known for her unwavering dedication and selfless nature, leaves behind a legacy of compassion and service that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn was born on November 10, 1959, in Phoenix, Arizona to Billy Frank Williams and Lois Carolyn (Alford) Smith. She grew up in a loving household alongside her siblings Rosie Treadway and husband Kenny, Phyllis Vance and husband William, Billy Williams and wife Alejandra, Lefty Williams, Larry Williams, Freda Holmes, Lisa Smith, LeeAnn Williams, and Lizzy Smith.

Carolyn dedicated many years of her life as a Home Health Care Coordinator. Her work allowed her to touch the lives of countless individuals and make a positive impact in their time of need. She approached her career with genuine care and unwavering commitment.

Outside of work, Carolyn's deep faith in the Lord served as the foundation of her life. She was an active member of Grace Point Pentecostal Church of God. Carolyn's passion in music ministry shone bright as she played the piano and sang with devotion. Her love for worship was evident to all who were fortunate enough to witness it.

Carolyn cherished her family above everything else. Her children held a special place in her heart - sons Jerry Stivers and wife Bess of Pearcy, Arkansas; Josh Stivers and wife Heather of Benton, Arkansas; Brody Salyers of Benton, Arkansas; daughter Sarah Stivers of Benton, Arkansas. Carolyn's love extended to her grandchildren: Wesley Stivers and wife Gloria, Luke Stivers, Heather Stivers, Abigail Stivers, Gabriella Stivers, Derrek Stivers, Joey Stivers, Katie Stivers, Chance Coker, and Ivee Coker.

Carolyn's grandchildren affectionately referred to her as "Nana," a testament to the close bond they shared. She treasured every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

In addition to her grandchildren, Carolyn was blessed with great-grandchildren who brought immense joy into her life. Rosie, Noah, Daxton, and London added an extra sparkle to her eyes and warmed her heart.

Known for her vibrant personality and mischievous spirit, Carolyn had a playful side. She enjoyed sharing jokes and pranks with loved ones, bringing laughter and joy into their lives. Her lighthearted nature made her a beloved figure among friends and family.

Carolyn had a heart overflowing with love and showed it through her actions. Her selflessness knew no bounds - she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it be drug addicts, the homeless, or friends and family, Carolyn's compassion had no limits. "NO" was not in her vocabulary when it came to assisting others. Serving those around her became her ministry in life.

Carolyn genuinely loved everyone she encountered and consistently sought out ways to serve others. Her relentless dedication to making a positive impact on people's lives was awe-inspiring. She believed that if she didn't step up to help, then who would? Carolyn's servant heart showcased qualities of generosity, giving, and humility that touched the lives of many.

The grieving hearts left behind include Carolyn's husband, Bill Salyers; children: Jerry Stivers and wife Bess of Pearcy, Arkansas; Josh Stivers and wife Heather of Benton, Arkansas; Brody Salyers of Benton, Arkansas; daughter Sarah Stivers of Benton, Arkansas. Alongside them are Carolyn's siblings: Rosie Treadway and husband Kenny, Phyllis Vance and husband William, Billy Williams and wife Alejandra, Lefty Williams, Larry Williams, Freda Holmes, Lisa Smith, LeeAnn, and Liz. Her memory will be kept alive by her many other family members and friends who loved Carolyn dearly.

A visitation will take place to honor Carolyn's life on December 1, 2023, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas. The visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM.  Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at Smith-Benton Funeral Home at 12:00 PM. A time for family and friends to gather and remember the beautiful life Carolyn lived will be provided during this service.  Lastly, a burial ceremony will be held at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas with Derrek Stivers, Joey Stivers, Wesley Stivers, Luke Stivers, Dave Head and Benji Evans assisting as pallbearers. 

Carolyn Mae Salyers leaves behind a legacy of compassion and dedication that will inspire generations to come. Her impact on the lives of others is immeasurable, and her love for her family is everlasting. While she may no longer be physically present with us, her spirit will live on forever in our hearts. Let us remember Carolyn with fondness and strive to carry forward her legacy of selflessness and love.
