Carolyn Reed
Carolyn Jean Blissett Reed, age 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 10, at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab. She was born February 28, 1936 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Carolyn was the daughter of D.P. and Maudie Holland Blissett.
She was a member of North Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed singing gospel songs and had a beautiful voice, and often sang specials at church.
Mrs. Reed is preceded in death by her parents D.P. and Maudie Blissett, her husband Charles Reed, and a sister Barbara Allen.
Survivors include her sons Mike Reed of Sherwood, John and Shonna Reed of Cabot, and Tony Reed of North Little Rock; a brother James Blissett of Sherwood, a sister Margaret Beasley of White Hall; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and CNA's at Sherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, for the awesome job they did providing care and love to Carolyn.
Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood, with burial following at the Gravel Ridge Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Huson Funeral Home.
