Carolyn Colford Manning, 58, of Bryant passed away Monday, November 3, 2008. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Robert V. and Doris Colford.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Manning, of Bryant; two step sons, Phillip (Kelly) Manning of Houston, Texas and Greg (Tina) Manning of St. Louis, Missouri; four grandchildren; six brothers, Tom (Susan) Colford of Little Rock, Bob (Pat) Colford of Jacksonville, Owen (Vickie) Colford of Sherwood, James Colford of Mulberry, Joe (Karen) Colford of Maumelle and Brian (Laurie) Colford of North Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Carolyn graduated from Mount St. Mary Academy. She was employed for over 35 years at Arkansas Soil and Water Conservation as a water conservation specialist. Carolyn was active in the Arkansas Envirothon Program, an educational program that encourages students to become concerned about the environment.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 7 at Immaculate Conception Church, 7000 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
