Carolyn Ann Krone

Carolyn Ann Krone, 69, of Little Rock, passed away March 14, 2023. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas on July, 25, 1953, she was the daughter of Billy Lee Smith and Emma Marie Smith. Ms. Krone was a retiree of the State where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Arkansas Department of Education in the Transportation Division. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society and was also an avid crafter, enjoying cross stitch and needlepoint.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Braden (Eric) and granddaughter, Margot Braden, of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Krone; parents; and brother, David Lee Smith.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.) with interment immediately following at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Arkansas Alzheimer’s Association.
