Mrs. Carolyn Jean Campbell Hovenkamp 80 of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Friday, August 4, 2023.
She was born November 17, 1942 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Johnnie Ray Campbell and Wilma Jean Egger Campbell. She was a Christian and spent time worshiping at Bigelow First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother Wilma Campbell and her sister Kay Campbell Ross.
Mrs. Hovenkamp loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and her husband, Leo enjoyed spending time at Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri. They loved boating and anything outdoors.
Mrs. Hovenkamp previously lived in Olathe and Overland Park, Kansas. She supported charities such as, Paralyzed Veterans of America & St. Jude Hospital.
Mrs. Hovenkamp is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leo Frank Hovenkamp, sister Janet Oaks of Mayflower, Arkansas, two daughters, Cheryl Leonette Waldmer (Bruce) of Conway, Arkansas, Carol Ann Grow of Conway, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Brian Leo Waldmer, Jessica Ann Waldmer Wiseman (Kyle) of Conway, Arkansas, Christy Jean Waldmer Dykstra (Michael) of Romance, Arkansas and six great grandchildren, Christina, Tristan, Kiana, Kadence, Peyton, and Enoch.
