Carolyn Davis

Carolyn Ann Davis, age 67, a longtime resident of Cabot, Arkansas, entered into her final resting place Friday, January 29, 2016. Carolyn was born at Cherry Valley, Arkansas on September 6, 1948 to Silas Monroe Hand and Audrey Lee Scott Hand.

Carolyn was always a high energy positive person. She loved her family, her church, and participating in a fun round of Bingo. Carolyn is a member of Faith Ministries of Beebe and serves on their church board. She was a Property Manager for twenty-five years.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 49 years, Roy Lee Davis, Sr.; son, Roy Lee Davis, Jr. and wife, Denise; daughter, Sherry Ann Davis-Meece and husband, Jeff, all of Cabot; nine grandchildren, Crystal Davis, Avan Moore, Cameron Whitmire, Blake Davis, Chase Whitmire, Austin Davis, Tristen Whitmire, Jaden Davis, Braden Davis; four great-grandchildren, Alyssa Dixon, Kinsley Davis, Parker Moore, Layla Whitmire; two brothers, Alan Hand and Doug Hand both of Heber Springs; several adopted children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Angela Renee Davis.

Family will receive friends for visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with Funeral Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home and burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cabot. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
