Carolyn Cox

Carolyn "Memaw" Cox, 77, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014. She retired from Heritage Publishing as an Accounts Executive with 29 years of service. She worked with the Arkansas Jaycees, America Legion and National Guard.
She is survived by sister, Mary Daves (Walter "Jr"); two children, Alan Cox and Terri Smith (Doug); four grandchildren, Amy Taylor (Daniel), Daniel Smith (Heather), Alex Cox and Shawn Cox; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William T. and Mary Survilla Waller Harper and her brother, Troy Harper.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at Shadow Lawn Cemetery in Malvern. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
