Carol (Ridings)

Carol Sue Williams (Ridings) passed away December 13, 2016 at UAMS in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her brother, Timmy Ridings of Beebe, and her husband, Richard (Dickie) Williams of North Little Rock.

Carol was born on January 15, 1963 in North Carolina to Allen and Barbara Ridings. She attended Beebe public schools and graduated from Beebe High School in 1981.

She worked various jobs in Little Rock, including several years at Garver Engineering where she was a receptionist. She always spoke fondly of her Garver family and was appreciative of the time she spent there.

Carol had a zest for life and was loved by her family and countless friends. Even though she was childless, she became Aunt Carol Sue to the kids of her friends as well as her extended family. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who had a generous heart and gracious soul. She touched the hearts of those who knew her.

Carol is survived by her father and mother, Allen and Barbara Ridings of Beebe; her sister, Karen Quattlebaum of Beebe; nieces and nephews, Dawson Quattlebaum, Alexis Quattlebaum, Jordan Quattlebaum, Jennifer Johnston and Jessica Ridings; and great-nieces and nephews, Jayden Holliday, Macey Ridings, Brady Johnston, and Isabella Fortson.
