Carmelita Evans Woodiel, 77, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born June 1, 1932, at Hallsville, Texas, to B. W. and Vivian (Braswell) Rogers, and she went to be with the Lord Friday, July 10, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. She was a retired beautician for the State Hospital and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Cabot. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Charles "Woody" Woodiel; three sons, Mike Evans, Mark Evans, both of Beebe, Mitch Evans and wife Tammy of Pangburn; two stepdaughters, Robbie Skinner and husband Chris and Gina Hicks and husband Rodney, all of Austin; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Miron Prince of Shreveport, Louisiana and Phillip Prince of Logansport, Louisiana and sister, Jean Glover of Minden, Louisiana.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009, at Victory Baptist Church, with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 3022 S. 2nd St., Cabot, AR 72023.
