Carlos Velazquez

Carlos Gerardo Velazquez, age 38 of Sherwood passed away June 12, 2016. He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Carlos was a graduate of Arkansas School for the Deaf. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing. Carlos adored his nieces and nephews, who adored him.

We will miss his compassion for others, sense of humor and his warm smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelia Velazquez-Carranza and Roberto Velazquez-Franco. He is survived by his sister, Susan Velazquez and husband Adan Arias; his brothers Martin Velazquez and wife Daisy of Mexico, Manuel Velazquez of Sherwood, Robert Velazquez and wife Amy of Sherwood, Luis Velazquez and wife Estela of Sherwood, Hobbie Velazquez of North Little Rock, Freddie Velazquez of North Little Rock, Tony Velazquez and wife Amy of Sherwood; 19 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, June 17, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Huson Funeral Homes in Sherwood, Arkansas.

Burial services will be in Tepatitlan, Jalisco.
