Carlos Messenger

Carlos Messenger, of Little Rock, passed away on August 21, 2015. He grew up in Republic, Missouri and moved to Arkansas as part of his over 30 year career with AT&T and Bell Telephone.

He will be remembered by his family and many friends for his love of golf, sense of humor and boisterous laugh. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Fran, and his pride and joys: Jason (Leah), Justin (Pam) and grandson Xavier. He is also survived by his "sisters" Cheryl (Dick) and Paddie (Don), along with many other family members and friends. A thank you goes to the many doctors and nurses who aided in his care over the years. A special thank you to dear friend and caretaker, T. J. Geldon who helped through the difficult times.

"God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered 'Come to Me.' With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay." Services will be with the family privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Arkansas Hospice Foundation or the Pulaski County Humane Society.

Arrangements by Little Rock Funeral Home, (501)224-2200. Mr. Messenger's online guestbook may be signed at www.littlerockfuneralhome.com.
