Carlos Eugene Cretsinger passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 62 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on April 27, 1960, in Abingdon, Virginia, Carlos brought so much love, joy, and inspiration to the lives of those around him.

Carlos was a compassionate and caring soul, touching the lives of everyone he encountered with his genuine kindness and warm smile. His adventurous spirit and zest for life enriched the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by all.

Carlos is survived by his father, Owen Cretsinger, his mother, Jeannette Cretsinger, his sisters Lisa Meadows and Jill Jarvis, his daughter Carrie Rene Anderson, his wife Cheegu Jansen, his stepson Alex Jansen, his stepdaughter Lauren Jansen, and his nieces and nephews Derrick, Thad, Corey, Sara, Rance, and Chance.

Carlos attended Robert E. Lee High School in Staunton, Virginia, and later served in the United States Marine Corps. He was proud of his military associations and the values he learned during his service.

Throughout his career, Carlos worked in the oil and gas industry, dedicating his time and expertise to his work. He spent the last six years of his career with Aramco in Saudi Arabia.

A memorial service to honor Carlos' life will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 2pm at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, located at 2200 Lake Woodlands Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380.

Carlos Cretsinger's departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration in these difficult times.
