Carlos Alberto Cantu Coronado, a compassionate and loving soul, was born on February 2, 1972, in Monterrey Mexico, N.L. Carlos embraced life with warmth and a deep sense of purpose. He passed away on September 1, 2023, leaving a void in the hearts of his loved ones and the community he touched.

Carlos graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science, he devoted his career to caring for animals and ensuring their well-being. Carlos was a true advocate for all creatures, big and small.

Beyond his professional achievements, Carlos was a cherished family man. His love for his wife, Nadia knew no bounds. Together they embarked on countless adventures, creating cherished memories along the way. One particular memory that stands out is their trip to Dallas to visit Six Flags. The joy and laughter they shared during that journey exemplified the deep love and connection they held close to their hearts.

He was a big fan of sports. His favorite team was the Tigres de Monterrey, N.L. Football held a special place in Carlos's heart. Carlos's vibrant personality radiated kindness and love wherever he went. His presence could brighten even the darkest day, spreading joy without reservation. Carlos will forever be remembered as an individual whose immense heart touched the lives of everyone he encountered.

Carlos is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Nadia; his children, Karla and Ricardo Cantu will forever cherish the guidance and wisdom he imparted upon them. Carlos's memory will also be carried on by his mother, Rosa Coronado Sanchez; brothers, Jose Cantu and Hugo Cantu; sister, Rosy Cantu; brother-in-law, Hector Medellin; mother-in-law, Maria Lozano; father-in-law, Fernando Medellin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends and his cat, "Gato". He will be met in Heaven by his father, Jose Cantu Gutierrez and his nephew, Victor Cantu.

In a world that often feels chaotic, Carlos Alberto Cantu Coronado's light shone brightly as a beacon of compassion and love. While our hearts ache with grief at his passing, let us remember him not with sorrow but with gratitude for the immense impact he had on our lives. May we continue to carry his legacy forward by embracing kindness and spreading love to all creatures. As we bid farewell to our dear Carlos, let us honor him by embodying the same compassion he showed towards all living beings.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 8th, 2023, at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Rest in peace, dear Carlos Alberto Cantu Coronado. May your soul find eternal serenity in the embrace of perpetual love. You will be missed dearly but forever remembered in our hearts. 

 

 

Carlos Alberto Cantú Coronado, un alma compasiva y amorosa, nació el 2 de febrero de 1972 en Monterrey México, NL, Carlos abrazó la vida con calidez y un profundo sentido de propósito. Falleció el 1 de septiembre de 2023, dejando un vacío en los corazones de sus seres queridos y de la comunidad que tocaba.

Carlos se graduó como licenciado en ciencias veterinarias, dedicó su carrera al cuidado de los animales y velar por su bienestar. Carlos fue un verdadero defensor de todas las criaturas, grandes y pequeñas. Más allá de sus logros profesionales, Carlos era un querido hombre de familia. Su amor por su esposa, Nadia, no tenía límites. Juntos se embarcaron en innumerables aventuras, creando recuerdos preciados a lo largo del camino. Un recuerdo que destaca es su viaje a Dallas para visitar Six Flags. La alegría y la risa que compartieron durante ese viaje ejemplificaron el profundo amor y la conexión que mantenían cerca de sus corazones.

Era un gran aficionado a los deportes. Su equipo favorito eran los Tigres de Monterrey, N.L. El fútbol ocupaba un lugar especial en el corazón de Carlos. La vibrante personalidad de Carlos irradiaba bondad y amor dondequiera que iba. Su presencia podría iluminar incluso el día más oscuro, derramando alegría sin reservas. Carlos siempre será recordado como un individuo cuyo inmenso corazón tocó las vidas de todas las personas con las que se encontró.

A Carlos le sobreviven su amada esposa durante 20 años, Nadia; sus hijos, Karla y Ricardo Cantú, siempre apreciarán la guía y la sabiduría que les impartió.
