Carl "Allen" Williams, Jr., 69, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016. He was born March 9, 1947 in Kennett, Missouri to Carl A. and Opal Williams. Allen graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1965 and received a Bachelor of Business degree from Arkansas State University. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Allen was a person who sincerely enjoyed being around other people, especially his family. He was the Human Resources Director at the Little Rock National Airport. He was an avid duck hunter and cherished time spent with his sons in the woods and beach vacations with the family.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Joye Williams; sons, Carl Allen Williams, III (Shanon) and Austin Wright; daughters, Kimberly Wright and Courtney Wright Hudson (Raymond); grandchildren, Addison, Ty and Hanna Hudson; siblings, Marie Williams Menyhart (Carl), Janet Williams Lowe, and Nancy Williams Leopard (Ed); and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to Boy Scouts of America or Heifer International.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 15th at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 16th at First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 1504 Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
