Carl Edward Hewgley, 93, of Conway, Arkansas passed away October 5, 2016. He was bron January 13, 1923 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Miles Turner Hewgley and Ethyl Kinneman Hewgley.
Carl proudly served in the United States Army. He was a draftsman in the printing industry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Hewgley; parents; daughter, Martha Jane Brown; and granddaughter, Tina Biehlmeir.
Carl leaves to cherish his memories daughters, Barbara Jean Barr and husband Robert of Farminton, New Mexico, Cathy Biehlmeir and husband Paul of Wichita, Kansas, Carla Watson and husband Scott of Biscoe, Arkansas, and Olivia Hewgley and husband Jessie May of Conway, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Elizabeth Brown and husband Al of Little Rock, Arkansas; and many more family members and friends who loved Carl and will miss him always.
Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM, Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
