Carl Walter Floyd, 73, of Little Rock, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. He was born January 7, 1943 in Perry, Arkansas to the late Gilbert and Effie Floyd. Carl served in the U.S. Army and worked at the Central Arkansas Library System for seven years following his retirement from the Federal Reserve Bank where he worked for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ann Floyd; sons, Todd Floyd and wife, Leanna of Fayetteville, Randall Floyd and daughter, Christy Floyd (Kevin Abbott); four grandchildren, Jeremy, Kaleigh, Emily and K.C. Floyd; two sisters, Janie and Lala; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, October 15 from 11-3 at Dr. Radcliff's pavilion at Burns Park in North Little Rock.
