Carl Buck

Carl Edward Buck, age 88 of Delight, died Wednesday October 4, 2017. He was born August 28, 1929 in Shawmut, AR, the son of Carl and Muriel Francis Buck. He retired after 40 years, from potlatch corporation, where he graded lumber. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Spradlin Buck; three sisters, two brothers, and a grandson Jeff Ruchalski.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas Buck (Cheryl) of Delight, James Buck of Royce City, TX; two daughters, Judy Ruchalski (Mike) of Delight, AR and Brenda Hardin(Don) of Sheridan, AR; and one Stepson, Larry Spradlin; one brother Roger Buck of Delight; six grandchildren, Mendy, Donna, John, Tommy, Brandon and Marissa; ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

The Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday October 6, at the Ruggles - Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 7 at Delight Baptist Church in Delight, with Bro. Verlon Wood and Bro. Terry Williams Officiating. Burial will be in the Delight Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon, John, Jim, Nick, Gage, and James. Honorary Pallbearers are Ronald Kidd and Billy Maroon.
