Calvin Cox, of North Little Rock, turned in his ?Address Change Notification? on June 30, 2008. He was born in Murfreesboro, Arkansas on August 13, 1924 to Ira and Cordia Beavert Cox.
Calvin was preceded in death by his former wife, Monteen and sisters, Elaine Willson, Dorothy Cutler, Francis Donaldson, Laverne Mitchell and Mildred McCoskey. He is survived by his spouse, Polly and brother, Clarence Cox; stepsons, Phillip, Kenneth, Bryan and Anthony Wickliffe, along with step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calvin was a veteran of World War II and saw action in both the European and Pacific theatre and was a retired Iron worker.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
