Calvin Barry Johnson

Calvin Barry Johnson, 64, of Alexander went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Born November 6, 1958, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Carl Gene Johnson and Imogene Baxley Johnson. Calvin married the love of his life and best friend, Shauri Adcock, on June 16, 2001. He was retired from the City of Little Rock Public Works Department in November 2020. 38 years. He was also a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his “best buddy” father-in-law Jerry J. Adcock. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Shauri Johnson of Alexander; son, Clayton Johnson (Lexi Ryan) of Alexander.

Calvin was full of life and lived every moment to the fullest. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart. His favorite things in life were being on the lake and watching beautiful sunsets. Calvin will forever be in our hearts and was his wife’s number one hero.

A celebration of life will be held August 7, 2023, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m. with visitation to follow.
