Calvin Hudson

Calvin Hubert Hudson, 77, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007. He was born April 26, 1929 in Little Rock to the late Raymond Muse Hudson and Velma Florence Harris Hudson. He was a retired paint contractor, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in North Little Rock and a 32nd degree Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheri Jane Lenox Hudson; four brothers, Muse Hudson, Ambrose H. Hudson, Jack B. Hudson and William H. Hudson. He is survived by one daughter, Cherilyn Jean (CJ) Hudson Shane and husband, Greg, of North Little Rock; two brothers, Ray M. Hudson, of Ft. Smith and Robert M. Hudson, of North Little Rock; one sister, Mary E. Hudson Politis, of Little Rock and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the medical professionals at UAMS Geriatric Department, two special caregivers, Rose Gunn, of Sherwood and Maxine Boykins, of Little Rock and a very special social worker, Carly Schumacher, of Arkansas Hospice.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
