Brother Buryl T. Dycus, 90, of Scott, went home to be with Jesus on June 2, 2018. He was born November 12, 1927 to Delia and Foster Dycus, in Mayflower, Arkansas. He was a devoted member, deacon and former pastor of the Scott Pentecostal Church. He was a loving husband, father, doting granddaddy and a friend to all who knew him.

Brother Buryl was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 57 years, Helen, and one sister, Allene Walls. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Sandra (Mickey) Miller, son Gary (Melody) Dycus, four grandchildren: Crystal (Jeff) Holsted, Charity (Justin) Hagemeier, Gary (Stephanie) Dycus, Jr. and Courtney, and four great-grandchildren: Jaci and Lauren Holsted, and Knox and Tatum Dycus. He is also survived by 4 brothers and 5 sisters, along with a host of other friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, Bro. Buryl would be delighted for donations to be made to the Scott Pentecostal Church Building Fund at 207 Mitcham Rd, N. Little Rock Arkansas 72117.

Homegoing service will be held at 11am, Wednesday at Scott Pentecostal Church, 14900 Hwy. 165, Scott, Arkansas. Burial will be in Keo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday at Scott Church.
