Burton Pate

Burton Dennis (B.D.) Pate, Jr., 89, formerly of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Born June 27, 1925 in McComb, Mississippi, he was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in France and Germany. He retired from Allstate Insurance in 1987.

Preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Adele Pate, sister and brother-in-law, Jamie and Doug Hance, son-in-law, Milton Dodson and daughter-in-law, Penny Pate, he is survived by his son, Dennis (Linda) Pate of Little Rock, daughter, Cheryl Dodson of Plano, Texas, son, Glen Pate of Mt. View, Arkansas, and daughter, Kerri (Jeff) Damschroder of Spring, Texas; niece, Jamie Lou Nichols of New Mexico; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), followed by interment with Military Honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
