Buddy Overstreet

"To be absent from the body is to be present with Christ." Buddy J. Overstreet, 72, departed from this life on January 13th. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, JoAnne Overstreet. He was an avid reader. He loved to fish and hunt but his greatest love was for his family.
He is survived by four sons, James (Linda) of Bryant, Mark (Kelly) of Edgemont, Mike (Cindy) of Benton and Steve (Angel) of Sheridan; six grandchildren, Melissa, Eric, Hunter, Andrew, Kenny and Micah; two great-grandchildren, Paige and Dallas; and his sister, Paulette Gabbard. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, L.C. and Arlene Overstreet.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
