Bruce McAlester

Bruce McAlester, age 54, of Hot Springs, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022.

He was born on December 21, 1967, in De Queen, the son of Lanny McAlester and Donna Branch McAlester. He is preceded in death by one sister, Lanita McAlester.

Bruce was a Christian and a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church. He worked for Express Boats for 26 years as a welder. He loved his co-workers and enjoyed working with them, they were his lifetime friends. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Nadine McAlester; his children, Eric and Carol all of Hot Springs; his parents, Lanny and Donna McAlester; one brother, Bryan McAlester; one niece, Lindsey McAlester, all of Texarkana, Texas; extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, prior to the service.

Interment in the Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee, Oklahoma, 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 10, 2022.
