Bruce Hartmann

From the arms of his loving wife to the outreached arms of our Savior Lord Jesus Christ, Bruce Hartmann passed on August 27, 2020.  Bruce was born July 13, 1945 in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Bruce graduated from Wisconsin University with a Food Chemistry Degree to follow in his father’s footsteps.  He got a job at the Post Office one summer and loved meeting and talking to the people on his route.  Bruce stayed there for thirty-six years.  After retiring, he and Vicki built their home in Hot Springs Village.  Bruce loved animals, especially his little walking buddy, Teddy.  They met many wonderful people on their daily walks.  Bruce was a kind and gentle soul with a smile that would make your day better.

Bruce is survived by his best friend and loving wife of twenty-five years, Vicki of Hot Springs Village.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In the meantime, please consider a memorial donation in Bruce’s name to:

HSVAWL-Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League, PO Box 8032, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas 71910 or to the Arkansas Hospice Foundation, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116.

Arrangements entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.  Online guestbook:  www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
