Bruce Anthony Connelley, 49, of Mayflower, died February 20, 2012. Bruce was a graduate of Catholic High School of Little Rock and worked for Verizon Arena since its opening 13 years ago. He loved all types of music and was an avid musician. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and will be missed by his family and his many friends.
Preceded in death by his father, John Patrick Connelley, he is survived by his mother, Betty Ann Connelley of Little Rock; sister, Carolyn Ann Simmons and husband, Greg of Benton; brother, Thomas Patrick Connelley and wife, Marci of Carbondale, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Caitlin Moats and husband, Phil of Peoria, Illinois, Dorian Connelley of South Korea, Jackson and Eliza Connelley of Carbondale, Clay Simmons and wife, Fiona of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Neil Simmons and wife, Katy of Little Rock; great-nephews, Cole Simmons and Eli Jennings of Little Rock and Austin Moats of Peoria.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 1:30 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Deacon Bill Wrape. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
