  Bruce “Bear” Campbell, 79, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away January 29, 2024. He was born on February 13, 1944, in Palestine, Illinois to the late Jeff and Inas Campbell.  

  He is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Jeff Campbell and sister, Nancy Campbell.  Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sandi Campbell of Little Rock, Arkansas; children, Todd Campbell (Tracie) of Alexandria, Louisiana, Keith Campbell (Amy) of Courtdale, Pennsylvania and Susan Miller (Andrew) of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren, Anabella Campbell, Christopher Campbell, Elizabeth Campbell, and Drew Moon (John); brother-in-law, Steve Kincheloe and sister-in-law, Ruthie Campbell; along with a host of family and friends.

  Bruce was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church for over 50 years and was a member of the Men’s Group. He retired after 50+ years as a registered Pharmacist. He spent the first 20 years as a retail pharmacist at Skaggs and over 30 years at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. In his spare time, Bruce enjoyed golfing, playing his guitar, and watching his grandchildren grow up. He was affectionately called “Papa Bear” by his grandchildren.  His golfing buddies were nicknamed “Clusters,” and they spent many days chasing the white ball.  Bruce was dedicated to his profession and his hobbies. 

  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bruce’s name to Park Hill Baptist Church, The UAMS School of Pharmacy, or the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.  

  A visitation will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street) with a memorial service following at 10:30 AM.
