Brian Scott "Scotty" Cook

Brian Scott "Scotty" Cook, age 54, of Kirby, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was born on December 10, 1961 in Houston, Texas. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his daughter, Salina Moore; two grandchildren, Danica Mae Moore and Rickson John Moore, all of Springfield, Oregon; his father, Dennis Cook; his mother, Carolyn Golden; his brother and sister-in-law, Marty and Cindy Cook, all of Kirby; his niece, Melynda Bryant and her husband, Billy; three nephews, Mike Cook and his wife, Cindy, Pete Cook and his wife, Tina, and Heath Cook and his wife, Maddi; three great-nieces, Jessica Hargrove, Casi Cook and Lindsey Cook; and four great-nephews, Kaden Bryant, Kyler Bryant, Cody Grinnis and Brian Michael Cook, his namesake. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 20, 2016, in the Bear Creek Cemetery with Bro. George "Boots" Donaldson and Bro. Raymond Dees officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Cook, Pete Cook, Heath Cook, Billy Bryant, Larry Gilbert, Larry O'Neal, Brian Michael Cook, Kaden Bryant and Kyler Bryant. Honorary pallbearers will be David Stewart and members of the Kirby Landing Hunting Club. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
